1. Who were the bog bodies? Bog bodies are naturally made mummies of people that date from about 8000 B.C, but most lived around 2000 years ago. Although the exact identity of the bog bodies is unknown, there are several theories on the subject. The ethno history of the bog bodies suggests that the people were Celts or Germanic. The stomach contents did show us the seasonality of the victim’s death.
