…showed last 75 words of 1574 total…fight, Audrey teams up with Peter – “Audrey – Don’t give in, Peter! Don’t give in!” While Willie teams up with, and congratulates John “Willie – You be number two now John. That’s for sure.” This shows children as being competitive and almost “back stabbing”, this is especially true on the part of Angela, which is not the view most adults would long for, nor is it the view the poem gives at the end.
