Dave has also contributed a lot back to the industry, starting a Woodward Scholarship for six kids to spend a week at the famous training facility camp in Pennsylvania; and has been involved with Make-A-Wish foundation. Dave has probably been the most influential rider to make BMX become known as a sport with true professional athletes, and at the same time, he always keeps the emphasis on having fun.
