Critique of Arms and the Man The play took place during the time period of the Russian revolution, I believe. I’m not entirely sure, but it was Bulgaria and Syria fighting. …good play, which kept me entertained throughout the entire production. Everything wrapped up very nicely at the end, and gave me a very good warm feeling with the conclusion. It was a feel-good play, which didn’t really make you think a great deal, but was mainly for entertainment purposes. In short, Arms and the Man was play very well done, which gave everyone in the audience a good feeling as the “curtains were drawn.”
