Arms and the Man
Critique of Arms and the Man
The play took place during the time period of the Russian revolution, I believe. I’m not entirely sure, but it was Bulgaria and Syria fighting. The setting took place entirely in the house of the Petkoff house; a Bulgarian major’s house and family.
The plot was a pretty basic, straightforward concept. It’s in the middle of the war, and fighting is occurring right outside the house.

good play, which kept me entertained throughout the entire production. Everything wrapped up very nicely at the end, and gave me a very good warm feeling with the conclusion. It was a feel-good play, which didn’t really make you think a great deal, but was mainly for entertainment purposes. In short, Arms and the Man was play very well done, which gave everyone in the audience a good feeling as the “curtains were drawn.”
