…showed last 75 words of 499 total…though, they feel like they are dealing with the problems. They end up associating the euphoria of getting high with dealing with their problems. And whenever they run into a problem, their first instinct will be to run to the drugs.
The interesting thing is that this way of dealing with pain doesn't only apply to drugs. When a person uses anything to ease the pain of their problems, they will become attached to it.
