…in both citizens and terrorists, but a greater sense of hope in the war against terrorism is present. The USA PATRIOT Act, the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act, and the Homeland Security Act all take at least some unarguable steps in the right direction. Whether or not the new legislation will successfully fight terrorism or not will be difficult to prove but at least some steps have been taken to try to reduce the threats present.
