final warning at the end of the play, Belle tries to make clear to Lewis that he is devoting too much of his time to a rock and that he needs to rethink his main concerns; otherwise, he will be truly unhappy for the rest of his life. Ironically in the end, the audience is able to see that Belle and Newton are the smartest characters in the play and live the most desired lifestyle.
