Salavador Dali was a very talented artist from Spain. He was born in 1904 and died of heart failure in 1989. A lot of his work was influenced by his dreams and he depicted them on canvas. Dali's work was also influenced by surrealism, a style of artwork that expressed images through unconventional techniques and distortions. I cannot for certian say that my interpretation is the correct one but I do feel that his intent in this artwork was to open the minds of the people who would look upon it. I never even knew who Salavador Dali was until now, but upon this introduction I know that I will strive to learn more about his life and view more of his artworks.
