Ivan's future doesn't look good, he knows this, and has learnt to take everyday as it comes. Every thing he has he cherishes and is proud that he has it. He has learnt to appreciate what he has and make the best of this. It is sad to know that he is doomed to not survive this camp. As he seems to innocent to be in such conditions.
